We restricted access to over 4,800 items in India in response to directions from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) and the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C). Content restricted under I4C issued reports pursuant to Section 79(3)(b) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, included content allegedly related to organized transnational cybercrime and impersonation of stockbrokers, AI manipulated content and defamation, hate speech, violence and incitement, religious extremism & sectarian content, and alleged fraud & scams.

We also restricted access to over 6,000 items in response to court orders submitted by local law enforcement agencies. Additionally we restricted access to 6 items on Threads. The remaining items were restricted due to alleged violations of other local laws.
