Commercial Exploitation of Crises and Controversial Events
Ads must not contain content that exploits crises or controversial events for commercial purposes.
Overview
We do not allow ads that exploit crises, or controversial events, as identified by Meta, for commercial purposes. Crises and controversial events refer to events that are the subject of significant public attention. Examples of events covered by this policy include, but are not limited to, natural disasters and medical emergencies. Advertisers running ads across Meta technologies must follow our Community Standards, in addition to our Advertising Standards.
